When it comes to workplace benefits and perks, what tops your list? Some employees enjoy target-based cash bonuses while others cherish the freedom of flexible working hours. A survey originally conducted by PWC and recently republished inKPCB’s 2015 Internet Trends Report reveals that most millennials actually consider training and development opportunities the most valuable working benefit.
Flexible hours were considered the most valuable benefit by 19 percent of those surveyed while cash bonuses were the top desire of 14 percent of respondents. Interestingly, family-orientated perks such as free child care, maternity benefits and financial assistance with housing were all given far lesser importance by the world’s millennials.
